YAI - Seeing beyond disability is seeking a supervisor for the Holbrook IRA program in Holbrook, NY. The role emphasizes safeguarding health and safety, supervising staff, and coordinating interdisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered habilitation.

You will manage program operations, ensure documentation and budget adherence, and foster professional development and collaboration with families and agency partners. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualificações

• BA/BS strongly preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Prior Direct Support Professional experience preferred.
• Background in supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring health, safety, and habilitation of the people we support consistent with agency philosophy and department practices.
• Ensuring appropriate, therapeutically documented level of supervision to protect health and safety.
• Providing program/floor coverage, when necessary.
• Promoting and maintaining the excellence of the programs.
• Leading and facilitating interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Fostering interagency collaboration and maintaining open communication with supports.
