Job summary

The Arc Of Greater New Orleans is seeking a Program Supervisor to lead a team of Direct Support Professionals and oversee the Home Emergency Living Program. This role emphasizes program leadership, staff development, and ensuring high-quality support for participants in the community.

You will develop service plans, monitor performance, manage documentation, and coordinate scheduling while aligning with person-centered practices and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human services or related discipline preferred.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Direct Support Professional training or one year DSP experience may substitute for degree.
• Valid LA driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals and their participants.
• Develop and implement service plans and monitor progress.
• Maintain program policies and procedures for the Home Emergency Living Program.
• Conduct performance evaluations and staff development.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly records and incident reports.
• Coordinate scheduling and monitor participant services.
• Remain on-call for emergencies and scheduling needs.
