The supervisor will attend staff meetings, coordinate patient care, oversee clinical and administrative operations, and may perform crisis intervention and related tasks
Branches Salem is welcoming our next Program Supervisor. This position is for a master’s level individual (licensure preferred) who provides support to the Outpatient team. This individual must be highly knowledgeable about working with substance use disorder clients, dual diagnosis clients, mental health clients and also specialty groups including behavioral pain patients, impaired professionals, patients with trauma and occasional military clients. This role is also be responsible for conducting initial treatment planning and assessments, running group therapy as needed, supporting patient chart audits, and providing case management and discharge planning needs for an assigned caseload. Additionally, this supervisor provides individual/couples/family sessions as needed. This supervisor is responsible for attending all staff meetings, including weekly treatment team meetings. Program Supervisor is also responsible for coordinating the activities of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and facility policy, goals, and objectives. This position contributes to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts, while providing guidance to the administrative staff and Program Therapists. Administrative duties include overseeing the following; physician schedules, patient compliance, oversight of the day to day clinical and administrative operations falls on this individual and he/she must be able to perform other duties as assigned including crisis intervention and other tasks as assigned by the Director of Outpatient Services.
