Job summary

Passavant Memorial Homes is seeking a Program Specialist in the Mount Pleasant area to supervise and coordinate services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and related needs. You will oversee Direct Support Professionals, ensure IP development and updates, and maintain regulatory compliance.

The role requires supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of CH. 6400 regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with 6400 regulations required.
• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university and one (1) year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities OR Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years’ experience OR Associate’s degree with four (4) years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise activities for individuals in accordance with IPs, including community integration.
• Coordinate and provide oversight for Direct Support Professionals responsibilities.
• Complete attendance and payroll records for Direct Support Professionals.
• Hold regular meetings with Direct Support Professionals to review program needs and provide training.
• Assure budgetary compliance and fiscal accountability for all residential programs.
• Ensure program adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Provide IP development, annual IP updates, and IP revisions per CH. 6400.181(a).
• Participate in IP process, development, team reviews, and implementation per 6400 regulations.
• Perform other duties as directed by Program Operations Director.
