Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Program Specialist to bring our curriculum to life in centers. You will develop and lead programs from classroom implementation to ongoing enhancements, ensuring teachers understand the curriculum and what children are learning.

You will spend most of your time in classrooms, mentoring teachers and modeling best practices, while partnering with families to deliver high-quality care and education.

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers in a dynamic environment.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Approved State Trainer (preferred).
• NAEYC/NAC knowledge and state licensing knowledge (preferred).
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency; lift 40 pounds; indoor/outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure curriculum is presented as intended and teachers can speak to it.
• Spend 75% of time in the classroom educating children and mentoring teachers.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Train, motivate and lead staff; assist center management with hiring.
• Support center success by coordinating enrollment, accreditation, and operational goals.
