Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Program Specialist to bring our curriculum to life in our centers and drive ongoing enhancements. You will spend most of your time in the classroom educating children and modeling for teachers, while also mentoring staff and assisting with teacher recruitment.

You will partner with families to provide the best care and education, and coordinate with center leadership to meet enrollment and accreditation goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Approved State Trainer preferred.
• NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift 40 pounds, indoors or outdoors.
• Able to assume postures for supervision and interaction with children.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with families.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our curriculum is presented as intended and teachers can speak to it.
• Spend 75% of time in the classroom educating children and mentoring teachers.
• Partner with parents to provide best care and education for children.
• Train, motivate and lead staff and assist center management with hiring.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and operational goals.
