Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Program Specialist to bring our curriculum to life in our centers. You will develop and lead classroom programs from initial implementation to ongoing enhancements designed to go above and beyond.

You’ll spend most of your time in the classroom mentoring teachers, partnering with families, and supporting center leadership to reach enrollment and accreditation goals. This role emphasizes hands-on teaching, quality program delivery, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Approved State Trainer preferred.
• NAEYC/NAC and licensing knowledge preferred.
• Meet state guidelines for the role.
• Able to handle computer use and child-facing activities.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with families.

Responsibilities

• Ensure curriculum is presented as intended and teachers can discuss learning goals.
• Spend 75% of time in classroom educating children and mentoring teachers.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Train, motivate and lead staff; assist with interviewing and hiring.
• Support center success by working toward enrollment, accreditation, and objectives.
