Job summary

Easterseals NH in Stratham (NH) is seeking a Program Specialist to join our day program team. You will work with the Program Manager to develop and monitor program goals and provide on-the-job training to new Direct Support Associates.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to the Manchester area. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive, recovery-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Human Services or related field and 1 year of Direct Support experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of Direct Support experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation arrangements (vehicle insurance).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Program Manager to review, monitor and participate in program goals.
• Act as a Peer Guide for assigned new Direct Support Associates (DSA) including on the job training and orientation.
• Maintain and document contact with assigned DSA for at least six months.
• Demonstrate professionalism, exceptional customer service, and a positive demeanor.
• Elevate feedback or concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with preparation and compliance of required documentation.
• Perform direct support responsibilities including personal care and transportation.
