Job summary

Easter Seals NH, Inc. seeks a Program Specialist for our day program in Stratham, NH, with travel to the Manchester area.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour workweek from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, PTO, holidays, and retirement plan options. The ideal candidate will hold an Associates Degree in Human Services or related field with Direct Support experience, or a high school

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Human Services or related field plus 1 year of Direct Support experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus two years of Direct Support experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Program Manager to review, monitor and contribute to program goals.
  • Act as a Peer Guide for new Direct Support Associates, including on-the-job training and orientation.
  • Maintain contact with assigned Direct Support Associates for at least six months.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and exceptional customer service in all interactions.
  • Assist with preparation and compliance of required documentation for the program.
  • Provide direct support responsibilities including personal care and transportation as needed.

Must be willing to travel to the Manchester area. **Responsibilities:*** Work directly with the Program Manager to assist in reviewing, monitoring and participating in the development, implementation and monitoring of program goals.* Act as a Peer Guide for assigned new Direct Support Associates (DSA) which includes providing on the job training and program orientation with assigned DSA* Maintaining and documenting contact with assigned DSA for a minimum of six months* Consistently demonstrate professionalism, exceptional customer service, and positive demeanor* Elevate any positive feedback and/or concerns to supervisor.* Assist with preparation and compliance of required documentation as requested by supervisor* Perform direct support responsibilities as necessary including personal care and transportation.**Qualifications:*** Associates Degree in Human Services or related field and (1) year of Direct Support experience OR a High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of Direct Support experience* Must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance for transportation requirements. **Compensation**: $21 Hourly **Hours**: Full-Time, 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday 9a-5p What’s in it for you?
