Columbia Basin College ("CBC" or the "College") seeks a ProgramSpecialist 2 to provide program support for Workforce Education initiatives that promote recruitment, retention, persistence and completion of students, with an emphasis on Perkins Special Populations and students entering non-traditional fields. The position assists with implementing activities identified through the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) by supporting student outreach, tracking program outcomes, maintaining Perkins Grant compliance documentation and coordinating assigned program activities. This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Instruction.

This position is a full-time, grant funded, overtime eligibleclassified staff position. The typical work hours for this positionare Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Fridayfrom 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p. m., however, must be available to work aflexible schedule when prior notice is given by the College. Thisposition is available immediately.

Manual dexterity and coordination are requiredto operate equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, andstandard office equipment.
Usual office working conditions. The noise level in the work areais typical of most office environments with telephones, personalinterruptions, and background noises.
