Job summary

New Jersey Institute of Technology seeks a Program Service Coordinator to implement NJ GEAR UP/College Bound service components at targeted sites. The role involves coordinating mentors and tutors, addressing student needs to boost program participation, and supervising data collection from multiple sources to improve outcomes.

Under the NJGU/CB Director, you ensure compliance with NJOSHE requirements and contribute to program development and stakeholder relations across campus sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling or related field with 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience with precollege programs and applying best practices to increase student engagement and enrollment.
• Strong management, development, planning, and organizational skills; effective verbal and written communication; stakeholder relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Site Directors to recruit, train, assign and supervise mentors, tutors and teacher assistants.
• Assist in increasing program participation by addressing student needs.
• Supervise reporting of student services and analyze data from reports, tests and PEPs to improve outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with NJOSHE Training and Curriculum Development requirements.
