Qualifications

• Completion of college sophomore coursework (24 credits) and current enrollment in good academic standing, or graduation from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Participate in NJ College Bound Mentor Training.
• Provide mentoring support to encourage higher education pursuit and success.
• Meet regularly with assigned participants per work schedule.
• Assist mentees in developing personal, academic, and life skills.
• Help mentees establish academic and career goals and expectations.
• Assist counselors with Personal Education Plans (PEP).
• Accompany mentees on field trips and program activities.
• Conduct or assist with life skills and educational planning workshops.
• Evaluate and document progress of mentees.
• Provide participants with academic and community resource information.
• Commit to serving for a full program session if possible.

Education
