Job summary

New Jersey Institute of Technology seeks a Program Service Coordinator for the NJ GEAR UP/College Bound program. Under the Director, you will implement service components across school sites and program locations to meet grant goals and standards.

You will coordinate mentors and staff, monitor student data, and ensure regulatory training requirements are met, enabling effective program delivery and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling or related field with 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience with precollege programs and best practices for service delivery to increase student outcomes.
• Strong verbal and written communications, management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Site Directors to recruit, train, assign, and supervise mentors, tutors, and teacher assistants.
• Assist in increasing program participation by addressing academic and personal needs of students.
• Supervise reporting of student services and analyze data to improve service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with NJOSHE Training and Curriculum Development requirements for mentors.
