Job summary

L3Harris is hiring a Manager Program Planner/Scheduler to lead a 10-person team responsible for developing networked IMS schedules using MS Project Server and applying EVMS in DoD environments. You will mentor staff, coordinate with CAMs and IPTs, and ensure compliant planning across major programs.

The role requires a strong background in scheduling, risk analysis, and performance reporting, with the ability to brief executives and drive process improvements within a federal contractor setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 10+ years related experience; graduate degree preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, 15+ years related experience accepted.
• Significant experience with MS Project and/or MS Project Server.
• Background in government contractor / aerospace & defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10 program planners/schedulers.
• Develop Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) reflecting WBS, data requirements, and resource loading.
• Perform critical path analysis and EVMS support.
• Coordinate with CAMs and IPTs on schedule data and status reports.
• Provide executive-level briefings on schedule matters.
• Mentor and develop team members and manage day-to-day operations.
