Position Description Summary

KKCS is seeking a Program Scheduler to support the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Facilities Services Division projects. This role is critical to the successful planning and execution of construction projects of various types across LAUSD’s bond-funded programs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical scheduling experience and a collaborative mindset to integrate with project teams and stakeholders. The position is full-time, contract, W2, and onsite in Los Angeles, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain program schedules with accurate relationships, milestones, logic ties, and constraints for a variety of construction projects.
  • Monitor and address project and program scheduling issues, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Obtain regular schedule updates from project teams and perform thorough QA/QC checks on submitted data.
  • Prepare conceptual “what-if” schedules for multi-phase, complex projects.
  • Generate ad-hoc schedule reports and analyses as requested by program management.

Minimum Qualifications REQUIRED Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of full-time paid professional experience in construction scheduling for an owner or general contractor.
  • Demonstrated experience working on multiple educational or public works projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (v19.12 or higher) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to foster effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
