Job summary

The City and County of Denver’s Department of Human Services seeks a detail-oriented Program Quality Assurance Technician I to ensure eligibility determinations are accurate and compliant across SNAP, Medical Assistance, and related programs.

You will conduct quality reviews, identify trends, and support training to strengthen program integrity while collaborating with program staff and leadership in a hybrid Denver workplace.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience working with public assistance programs.
• Ability to interpret policies and apply them consistently.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform quality assurance reviews of eligibility cases.
• Evaluate case actions for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement through case review findings.
• Analyze program data and provide recommendations to improve service delivery and program integrity.
• Assist in identifying training needs and support agency training and development initiatives.
• Collaborate with program staff, supervisors, and leadership to promote consistent application of eligibility policies.
• Develop knowledge and expertise needed to independently conduct quality assurance reviews.
