Job summary

The Program Operations Specialist 1 supports program design and policy development for the New York Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, including Children's Waiver transfers and Home-Enabling Supports. Based in Albany, this is a full-time permanent position working Monday through Friday.

The role liaises across agencies, manages shared mailboxes and external SharePoint sites, and assists with waiver enrollment, technical assistance, and development of policies and briefing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a human services field is required.
Two years of experience in a federal or state certified human service program.
One year in a professional administrative position involving planning, coordinating, monitoring or evaluating services for people with developmental disabilities.
Master's degree can substitute for one year of specialized experience.
