Job summary

State of Maryland seeks an Administrator III Supervisor to lead the Homeowner Protection Program operations in Baltimore. You’ll supervise staff, coordinate workflow, implement policies, and drive efficiency while supporting executive initiatives and special projects.

You will partner with the Ombudsman, monitor enrollment and payments, and build strong internal and external relationships to ensure high-quality customer service and program success.

Qualifications

• Six years of administrative staff or professional work experience.
• Education substitutions: 30 college credit hours per year up to four years.
• Bachelor’s degree plus two years of related experience may substitute the required experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the Homeowner Protection Program operations.
• Review applications, enrollment, and case processing with fair, objective criteria.
• Manage accounting aspects, loan agreements, and monthly debt payments to counties/investors.
• Ensure staff guidance, customer service, and escalation handling across channels.
