Job summary

Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation – Homeowner Protection Program is seeking an Administrator III Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, enrollment, and payments to Counties or investors. The role requires strong leadership, policy interpretation, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced public service setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Six years of administrative staff or professional work experience.
• Substitutions allow college credits or degrees in lieu of work experience as specified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate operations of the Homeowners Protection Program and serve as subject matter expert.
• Manage application processing, enrollment, and payments to counties and investors.
• Develop and improve program processes, enrollment strategies, and customer service quality.
• Supervise staff and ensure compliance with laws and policies relevant to the program.
• Collaborate with the Tax Sale Ombudsman and other SDAT teams as needed.
