The Opportunity
Support the Program Manager by managing day-to-day program operations, deliverable tracking, and cross-functional coordination for Department of Defense mission systems. As a Deputy Program/Project Manager, you will:
- Support the Program Manager in planning, monitoring, and executing program activities across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Manage the tracking, submission, and quality review of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to ensure on-time delivery and acceptance
- Coordinate training activities, schedules, and completion tracking for program personnel
- Manage travel planning, coordination, and reporting in support of program execution requirements
- Identifyandfacilitateresolution of operational issues, acting as a liaison between technical and functional areas
- Provide direct support to the Program Management Office (PMO) across administrative, operational, and reporting functions
Responsibilities
- Supportthe Program Manager in day-to-day program operations, including scheduling, resource coordination, and status tracking
- MaintainCDRL tracking logs,monitorsubmission timelines, and coordinate quality reviews to ensure all deliverables meet contractual acceptance criteria
- Supportthe development and maintenance of program status reports, progress reports, and management review materials
- Coordinateand track staff training requirements, including security training, technical certifications, and onboarding requirements
- Plan, coordinate, and process travel requests, ensuring compliance with program and corporate travel policies
- Serveas a point of contact between technical teams, functional support areas, and program leadership to resolve operational issues
- Supportaction item tracking, meeting minutes, and follow-up coordination for program reviews and status meetings
- Assistwithmaintainingprogram documentation, including Work Management Plans, Personnel Rosters, and Standard Operating Procedures
- Supportonboarding coordination for new personnel, including scheduling, orientation, and documentation tracking
- Monitorprogram performance metrics andassistin the preparation of recurring program status and management reports
- Supportsubcontractor coordination and communication as needed tomaintainprogram continuity
- Assistwithmaintainingconfiguration management and document control processes for program deliverables
Qualifications
Required:
- ActiveSecret security clearance (required)
- Bachelor'sdegree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of related professional experience in program/project operations support
- Experiencesupporting program business and functional operations
- Demonstratedexperience tracking deliverables, schedules, and status reporting
- Strongorganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities
- Experiencecoordinating training schedules and tracking completion requirements
- Experiencecoordinating and processing travel arrangements and related documentation
- Strongwritten and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with technical and functional teams
- Abilityto work independently with general supervision
- Demonstratedability toidentifyandfacilitateresolution of operational issues
Desired
- ActiveTop Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Experience supporting DoD or government program offices
- Familiaritywith CDRL management processes and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs)
- Experiencewith program management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or SharePoint
- Familiaritywith Contractor Progress and Status Reports and related program management deliverables
- Experiencesupporting security training coordination and compliance tracking
- Knowledgeof Government Furnished Property (GFP) processes and tracking
- Experiencewith travel management systems and corporate travel policies
- Familiaritywith configuration management and document control best practices
- Previousexperience in a PMO support role for a defense contractor

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$75,200 - 158,100 USD
