The GEO Group seeks a qualified leader to manage daily facility operations, supervising program staff and ensuring contract compliance. The role involves developing offender-focused programs, supervising counseling and education activities, and coordinating with external agencies to achieve client objectives.

The position requires strong communication, supervisory experience, and the ability to manage documentation and staff performance in a correctional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Five years of full-time program administration or counseling experience.
• Two years of supervision of employees.
• Ability to handle a variety of complex tasks and write clear reports.
• Ability to delegate, plan, motivate, control schedule and train; effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and directs the program and daily operations of the facility in accordance with policies and client standards.
• Develops and implements offender-related programs (substance abuse, special needs, etc.).
• Develops policies that enhance staff development.
• Supervises staff in counseling, educational and recreational activities and training.
• Ensures documentation and records are properly maintained; conducts monthly staff meetings.
