Oswego-Community-Unit-School-District-308 is seeking a school nurse program nurse to provide direct professional nursing services for district students across assigned buildings and programs.

The role includes administration of medications, first aid, health assessments, and coordination of health services in a K-12 setting, with emphasis on safety, confidentiality, and collaboration with staff, parents, and administrators.

Qualifications

• RN or BSN with current Illinois license in good standing.
• Knowledge of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.
• CPR/AED certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct professional nursing services including administration of medication, first aid, and emergency response.
• Keeps daily electronic log of student health incidents and communicates with parents and school staff.
• Follows IDPH rules on immunizations and health screenings; maintains student health records.
• Administers daily and PRN medications per district guidelines and educates students on proper medication use.
• Coordinates health-related programs and acts as a health resources liaison for staff.
