Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN or BSN with an active Illinois license in good standing.
• Knowledge of ANA Code of Ethics and Illinois Nurse Practice Act.
• Current CPR/AED certification and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing services including medication administration and first aid.
• Maintain daily electronic log of student injuries and illnesses.
• Follow IDPH rules for immunizations, screenings and health records.
• Conduct vision/hearing screenings and follow-up as needed.
• Coordinate with teachers and parents to support student health needs.
• Comply with Bloodborne Pathogen Rules and district policies.
