Job summary

Urban Land Institute (ULI) is seeking a Manager, Land Use Programs and Initiatives in Seattle. You will independently manage programs, member groups, and grant-funded initiatives, creating high-quality experiences and moving projects from concept to execution.

You will collaborate with the Executive Director and volunteer leaders, shape agendas, and guide panels spanning housing, transit-oriented development, and AI-powered initiatives. This role emphasizes ambiguity, innovation, and impact.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of program or project management experience.
• Strong relationship management skills with senior leaders.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
• Comfort using AI tools in work today.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally nationally.

Responsibilities

• Convene panels, manage member groups, and grant-funded initiatives.
• Own programs end to end from concept through execution.
• Coordinate with Executive Director and volunteers.
• Develop and manage TAPs and advisory panels.
• Support budgets, contracts, and grant reporting.
• Assist with event coordination and program administration.
