Job summary

Urban Land Institute Northwest in Seattle seeks a Program Manager to independently manage programs, member groups, and grant-funded initiatives, creating a high-quality member experience and moving projects from concept through execution.

You will collaborate with the Executive Director, lead two housing councils, and drive grant-funded work including emerging AI initiatives, while engaging with volunteers and partners to ensure impact.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of program or project management experience.
• Strong relationship management with senior stakeholders.
• Curiosity andability to learn complex topics quickly.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage program areas and committees end-to-end.
• Coordinate with Executive Director and volunteer leaders.
• Lead panels, advisory groups, and grant-funded initiatives.
• Support budgets, contracts, reporting and deliverables.
• Plan programming and run meetings for member groups.
• Collaborate across teams to surface outcomes and impact.
