Job summary

Phaxis seeks an experienced Program Manager to oversee supportive housing services, supervise staff, ensure quality care for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, and support daily program operations in Brooklyn, NY.

The role requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, licensure such as LMSW/LCSW is recommended, and a background in SPMI services, group facilitation, strong leadership, and reporting skills; occasional shift coverage until 8:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
• Professional licensure (LMSW/LCSW or related) recommended but not required.
• Experience with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of supportive housing service operations.
• Experience developing and facilitating groups.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with funder policies and performance standards.
• Supervise staff, conduct team meetings, evaluations, and coordinate training.
• Review and approve timesheets, leave requests, and travel vouchers.
• Monitor program goals and implement quality assurance measures.
