Job summary

Good Shepherd Services in New York is seeking a Program Manager for the DeWitt Clinton High School Student Success Center. The role oversees operations, coordinates with DOE staff, and leads a youth-led college access program to sustain a college-going culture.

The position requires a BA, college access counseling experience, and strong organizational and communication skills; weekend or evening work may be required. Hours are 35 per week and salary ranges from $59,000 to $66,000 per year.

Qualifications

• BA required and college access counseling experience.
• Experience developing and delivering workshops is preferred.
• Weekend or evening availability when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Organize the delivery of student support and college access services at DeWitt Clinton High School.
• Hire and supervise program staff, including youth peer college counselors.
• Collaborate with DOE guidance counselors and other staff to develop post-secondary service plans.
• Coordinate with the Office of Student Pathways (OSP) and CARA to meet KPIs and outcomes.
• Oversee recruitment, intake, assessment, and follow-up to ensure contractual obligations.
• Facilitate college preparation workshops and train staff in facilitation.
