Good Shepherd Services in New York is seeking a dedicated Youth Leader to provide peer-to-peer counseling and workshops in the Student Success Center. This role involves assisting in creating a college-going culture and supporting students in grades 9-12.
Ideal candidates are current students, motivated, and responsible, committed to making college accessible. The position is non-exempt, requiring 10 hours per week, with a focus on teamwork and engagement in a diverse environment.
The Youth Leader works in partnership with adult counselors in the Student Success Center at Longwood Educational Campus to provide college awareness, college preparation, and individual college counseling. The goal of the Student Success Center is to create and sustain a college‑going culture on campus, and Youth Leaders are integral to achieving this goal.
Reports to: Program Manager
Hours: 10 Hours/Week; Non‑Exempt
