Job summary

RTX’s Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit in McKinney, Texas, seeks a highly motivated Program Manager to lead development and transition to production across complex defense programs onsite.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage cost, schedule, and technical performance using EVMS/IMP/IMS, and maintain an active Secret clearance. This role requires 8+ years PM experience and collaboration with customers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 8+ years preferred.
• Experience in PM domains: CAM, IPT Lead, OPS, Production Control.
• Leadership experience with cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Contracts, Engineering).
• Experience with EVMS, IMP, IMS, risk & opportunity management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program execution; shape scope with partners.
• Lead capture activities: proposals, win strategies, cost estimating.
• Develop technology roadmaps; execute IRAD/CRAD programs.
• Interface with customers and leadership to report status.
• Manage risk, opportunities; ensure plans meet commitments.
• Execute annual and 5-year business plans; partner with customers.
