Job summary

Thrive People & Strategy is seeking a Program Manager (Program Director) for our Palos Verdes Estates, California facility. This full-time, in-person role leads daily operations across compliance, safety, clinical oversight, and staff scheduling, with a focus on recovery programs and 360 operational excellence.

You will train staff, enforce company policies, and coordinate with the medical team and nurses. Requires California driver’s license and ability to work Saturdays; complex, fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must have RADT or CADC and CPR cert.

Responsibilities

• Train all staff including BHTs and medical team members.
• Oversee facility operations: compliance, safety, clinical, schedule, hiring, and vehicle/food/inventory.
• Ensure logs and compliance paperwork are completed by staff.
• Serve as go-to person for staff and manage a high-paced, high-stress environment.

About the Job:

We are looking to hire a Program Manager with a passion for recovery (12 step model) who is up for a challenge!

• Must be great with people - both staff and clients

• Must have a California drivers license to be added to our company auto-insurance policy to transport clients in company vehicles.

• Must be willing and available to work every Saturday. Typical weekly schedule is to be at the facility Tuesday to Saturday

Pay day is EVERY on Thursdays

Job Duties:

This dynamic and complex role involves a wide variety of elements. We are looking for someone with excellent critical thinking skills who can quickly solve problems and implement solutions. In general, you will responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are understood and followed by all staff. You'll be responsible for training all new and current staff including the BHT's and the medical team members such as Nurses.

You will have authority over all staff and be responsible for all elements of the facility: Compliance, safety, clinical, medical, program schedule, staff schedule, hiring, staff accountability, vehicle maintenance, facility maintenance, food ordering and food storage, inventory, and more!

Note: we have a Compliance Consultant who completes all formal compliance documents and is available to help. You are responsible for ensuing logs are completed and compliance related paperwork such as temperature logs, fire drills, monthly rounds, vehicle inspections etc. is completed by staff at the facility.

You will be to go-to person for the staff. This position is much more than a 40 hour per week job. The staff will be calling you when you are not at the facility.

Clarification: this is NOT a job for a counselor. You will NOT be counseling the clients. Your primary role is to train staff to understand and follow company policies and procedures. This is a Management position.
