Lead BHT Location: Palos Verdes Estates, California Position Type: Part-Time, In-Person

At Throttle & Thrive, we provide focused, trauma-informed care to First Responders and Veterans in our inpatient detox and residential treatment program. We’re looking for a dedicated and driven Lead BHT to take the lead in daily operations including managing the BHT’s, compliance, facilities maintenance and more. Your Role at a Glance:
  • Manage and train the Behavioral Health Technicians
  • Oversee all compliance and regulatory items to ensure the standards are met
  • Ensuring the facility runs on time for all program items
  • Document all necessary items in Kipu
  • Other duties include medication pass, taking vitals, CIWAS/COWS, computer work, group notes documentation, group facilitation, transportation, food ordering and food management, facility maintenance, vehicle inspections and more.
  • You need to have a good understanding of how to use a computer and various software systems (Microsoft Office, Email and various online platforms)
  • Complete all related documentation in Kipu EMR onsite and within required timelines
  • Respond to clinical crises and client needs with professionalism and therapeutic integrity
  • Collaborate with a tight-knit, multidisciplinary team, including medical staff and clinical leadership, to support client progress

  • Has strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
