Wayne State University is seeking a Program Manager for the Michigan Poison & Drug Information Center in the Emergency Medicine department. The role focuses on coordinating administrative operations, staffing coverage, training logistics, and donor engagement to sustain high-quality poison center services.

The position works closely with SPIs, CSPIs, directors, and partners to drive program success, plan conferences, and manage contracts and compliance across the unit.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Graduate education in business, health care administration, public health or related field preferred but not required.
• Clinical licensure or SPI certification not required for this non-clinical position.

Mansioni

• Maintain administrative records of professional licenses, certifications, required training, and renewal dates.
• Plan and coordinate quarterly education conferences and annual MiPDC Toxicology Symposium, including logistics and planning.
• Identify grant and sponsorship opportunities; develop donor/tracking systems in coordination with the development office.
• Support program implementation and administrative coordination of service agreements, data contracts, and reporting deadlines.
• Implement and maintain performance metrics and staff scheduling; coordinate leave, coverage, and on-call needs.
• Develop onboarding processes and orientation materials for new employees; ensure training progress.
