UTMB Health is seeking a Specialist, Poison Information II - TDH Poison Center for up to 19 hours per week. The role requires an advanced biomedical degree with clinical experience or a clinical degree (RN, PharmD, NP, PA, or MD/DO) and at least one year of Poison Center experience with CSPI certification.

Competenze

• Minimum one year of Poison Center experience.
• CSPI certification required.

Mansioni

• Provide poison information to health professionals and the public via the Texas Poison Center hot line and other channels.
• Coordinate poison services, document interactions, and ensure compliance with SETPC/TPCN guidelines.
• Mentor staff and preceptors; assist in training and quality assurance.
• Participate in triage of potentially suicidal individuals.
