Job summary

The State of Wyoming, Wyoming Department of Health, Aging Division, seeks a Program Manager for the Older Americans Act Title III-E Family Caregiver Program and the Wyoming Home Services Program. The role oversees grant management, contracts, fiscal reporting, quality assurance, and technical assistance to providers and participants.

The position focuses on collaboration with state agencies, non-profit coalitions, and caregivers to improve services for Wyoming's older adults and disabled

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; healthcare preference.
• Experience or substitution: 3-5 years in health programs or social services.
• Knowledge of grant writing, grant administration, and program evaluation.
• Knowledge of Wyoming statutes and public administration.
• Experience with Excel and Google and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Provides input in budget preparation and administration for granted projects; analyzes expenditure data to maximize federal dollars.
• Communicates with stakeholders regarding rules, expectations, and goals while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Researches requirements and develops goals for future program implementations.
• Ensures services meet participant needs and addresses concerns.
• Assesses providers' adherence to standards; evaluates service provision and data.
• Directs the work of contractors and county employees.
• Represents the program as liaison to state interdepartmental programs and coalitions.
• Provides provider and participant training, public education, and resource development.
