What You Will Lead

• Multiple concurrent E&I projects across upstream, midstream, downstream, petrochemical, gas processing, terminal, and related process facilities.
• Execution strategies for greenfield, brownfield, expansion, maintenance, turnaround, shutdown, and tie-in work.
• Coordination across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, startup, commissioning, client operations, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Project health reviews and corrective action for emerging safety, design, labor, material, productivity, schedule, and commercial risk.
• Recovery planning for distressed projects and high-impact decisions through resolution.

Your E&I and Commercial Scope

• Provide executive-level oversight of power distribution, substations, switchgear, MCCs, motors, grounding, heat trace, lighting, instrumentation, analyzers, controls, PLC/DCS interfaces, and communications systems.
• Ensure constructability, work packaging, installation sequencing, testing, loop checks, calibration, checkout, energization, commissioning, and turnover are built into the execution plan.
• Coordinate brownfield tie-ins, shutdown work, simultaneous operations, operating-area access, permit requirements, and system handover with client operations.
• Own portfolio revenue, gross margin, cost-to-complete, cash flow, billing, collections support, forecast accuracy, contingency use, and change management.
• Review estimates, budgets, labor curves, productivity assumptions, buyout plans, subcontract strategy, schedule of values, and commercial risk before authorization.
• Protect the contractual position through timely notice, accurate documentation, disciplined change-order management, and clear executive reporting.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of direct Oil & Gas construction experience with progressive responsibility in E&I project or program leadership.
• Experience delivering E&I work in upstream production, midstream pipelines or terminals, gas processing, refining, petrochemical, LNG, or related process facilities.
• Proven accountability for multiple projects or a major program covering safety, schedule, cost, margin, staffing, productivity, quality, commissioning, and client performance.
• Strong command of industrial power distribution, instrumentation, controls, classified areas, testing, loop checks, startup, commissioning, and turnover.
• Hands-on experience planning and executing brownfield work, tie-ins, shutdowns, turnarounds, or work within operating facilities.
• Command of budgets, forecasting, earned progress, labor productivity, scheduling, risk management, change management, and contract administration.
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, specifications, one-lines, P&IDs, scopes of work, estimates, schedules, cost reports, and performance dashboards.
• Executive communication, client management, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work from Houston or Odessa and travel regularly to project sites and client locations.
