Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an experienced Oil and Gas Electrical and Instrumentation Program Manager for major Houston or Odessa projects. You will lead E&I efforts across upstream, midstream, petrochemical facilities, from estimating through commissioning.

You will own safety, schedule, cost, and client relationships, directing teams through mobilization, execution, commissioning, turnover, and closeout, with travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in oil & gas construction with progressive leadership.
• Experience across upstream, midstream, gas processing, refining, petrochemical, LNG.
• Strong background in power distribution, instrumentation, and controls.
• Experience planning brownfield work, tie-ins, shutdowns and turnarounds.

Oil and Gas Electrical and Instrumentation Program Manager (over multiple projects)

Location: Houston or Odessa, Texas

Pay: $195,000- $210,000 depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

We are hiring an experienced Program Manager for major construction projects in the Houston or Odessa, Texas area. This is an opportunity to apply your skills on new and large-scale builds and lead our oil & gas electrical and instrumentation projects.

You'll direct E&I work across upstream, midstream, downstream, petrochemical, and gas processing facilities- from estimating through commissioning and closeout- owning safety, schedule, cost, and client relationships on greenfield and brownfield work.

What You Will Do

• Own safety, schedule, cost, margin, and client satisfaction across your project portfolio
• Lead teams through mobilization, execution, commissioning, turnover, and closeout

What You Bring

• 10+ years of direct oil & gas construction experience with progressive leadership responsibility
• Experience in upstream, midstream, gas processing, refining, petrochemical, or LNG facilities
• Strong background in industrial power distribution, instrumentation, and classified‑area work
• Experience planning brownfield work, tie‑ins, shutdowns, and turnarounds
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, P&IDs, estimates, and cost reports
• Based in Houston or Odessa, TX, with regular travel to project and client sites

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• EPC or self‑perform construction background across dispersed project portfolios
• PMP, electrical license, OSHA 30, or NFPA 70E credentials
