Bayouelectrical in Houston is looking for an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Project Manager to oversee projects in the oil and gas industry. You will manage project plans, budgets, and schedules while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Project Manager to lead and oversee projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, electrical systems, and a solid understanding of project costs within the oil and gas industry. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Develop, manage, and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of labor, materials, and resources.
Plan, schedule, and manage large-scale I&E projects to meet customer expectations while achieving targeted profit margins.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams; prepare and present project status reports, including financial updates.
Track labor hours, productivity, and material costs to ensure projects remain within estimated hours and approved budgets.
Collaborate with internal departments to secure required personnel, equipment, and resources.
Identify, address, and resolve project-related issues promptly to maintain project momentum and minimize risk.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations in accordance with Bayou’s EHS policies and client requirements.
Maintain high-quality standards throughout project execution; conduct final project evaluations and prepare complete closeout documentation.
Monitor contractual commitments to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and contract terms.
Implement and maintain a trend and change management program to track scope changes and ensure timely processing of change orders and claims.
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) industry or construction environment.
Strong knowledge of I&E systems and project cost controls within the oil and gas industry.
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
Critical and outside-the-box thinker with strong decision-making capabilities.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Office-based position with occasional travel to project sites.
Exposure to industrial environments with required adherence to safety and PPE guidelines.
