Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing in Houston or Odessa, TX, seeks an experienced Oil and Gas Electrical and Instrumentation Program Manager to lead multi-project initiatives across upstream, midstream, petrochemical facilities, from estimating through commissioning and closeout.

You will own safety, schedule, cost, and client relationships, with travel to project sites; 10+ years of oil & gas construction leadership and a strong background in power dist, instrumentation, and PLC/DCS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct oil & gas construction leadership.
• Experience in upstream, midstream, gas processing, refining, petrochemical, or LNG facilities.
• Strong background in industrial power distribution, instrumentation, and classified-area work.
• Experience planning brownfield work, tie-ins, shutdowns, and turnarounds.
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, P&IDs, estimates, and cost reports.
• Based in Houston or Odessa, TX, with regular travel to project and client sites.

Responsibilities

• Own safety, schedule, cost, margin, and client satisfaction across your project portfolio.
• Lead teams through mobilization, execution, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Oversee power distribution, switchgear, MCCs, instrumentation, controls, and PLC/DCS systems.
• Coordinate brownfield tie-ins, shutdowns, turnarounds, and operating-facility work.
• Drive weekly project health reviews and lead recovery planning on distressed projects.
• Coach and develop project managers, construction managers, and superintendents.

This is an opportunity to apply your skills on new and large-scale builds and lead our oil & gas electrical and instrumentation projects. You'll direct E&I work across upstream, midstream, downstream, petrochemical, and gas processing facilities- from estimating through commissioning and closeout- owning safety, schedule, cost, and client relationships on greenfield and brownfield work.What You Will Do

• Experience planning brownfield work, tie-ins, shutdowns, and turnarounds
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, P&IDs, estimates, and cost reports
• Based in Houston or Odessa, TX, with regular travel to project and client sites

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• EPC or self-perform construction background across dispersed project portfolios
• PMP, electrical license, OSHA 30, or NFPA 70E credentials
