Job summary

NECHV in Boston seeks a Program Manager for the Low Threshold Programs to oversee daily operations and ensure 24/7 coverage. You will supervise a team of support staff and work with the Program Director to apply trauma-informed and harm reduction approaches.

You will provide direct clinical case management to a caseload of about 5 Veterans, coordinating referrals and services to aid housing, income, and independence outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling is required.
• 1–3 years of supervisory/management experience is required.
• 2–3 years of experience with substance use and mental health disorders is required.
• Strong crisis intervention, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Program Coordination: hire, onboard, train and supervise Low Threshold team members; coordinate 24/7 coverage.
• Clinical Case Management: maintain a caseload of ~5 Veterans; provide counseling and referrals; document plans.
• Collaboration: work with VA, GPD liaisons, and other NECHV programs to optimize referrals and resources.
