Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Manager Programs 2 in the Fuzing and Warhead area of the Missile Products BU in Plymouth, MN. The role leads cross-functional IPTs to meet cost, schedule and technical performance, with responsibility for contracts, budgets and customer relationships.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 6 years, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience OR a Master’s degree and 6 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries.
• 8 years of experience leading tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either a project lead or cost account manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives.
• Develop, directing and leading program plans, budgets and schedules; manage master baselines.
• Establish and manage program resources and government/customer property requirements.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships to develop further opportunities within the customer community.
• Develop and negotiating contracts, changes, specifications and key terms with customers.
