Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager, Programs Level 2, to lead an emerging portfolio in the Baltimore, MD area. You will direct a cross-functional IPT, develop customer relations, and drive proposal activity while ensuring cost, schedule and technical objectives are met.

You will oversee contract types, SOWs, and IMS development, with a focus on effective risk management and program governance, while coordinating with internal teams and the customer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 3 years.
• Experience executing programs or projects on schedule and within cost.
• Prior program management, operations management or engineering experience.
• Experience serving as CAM using EVM principles and tools.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional and matrixed teams.
• U.S. Citizenship required; active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships and cultivate customer intimacy for new opportunities.
• Lead a cross-functional IPT to meet cost, schedule and technical objectives.
• Develop and deliver presentations to customers and stakeholders.
• Develop new business opportunities through planning and proposals.
• Use a variety of contract types and manage SOW creation and review.
• Negotiate schedule milestones, payments, and key contract terms.
• Adhere to internal processes for Program Management and EVM.
