Job summary

The Glenview Community Ice Center seeks a Program Manager to lead strategic growth, financial performance, and operational excellence. You will build strong staff and patron relationships to drive program and revenue growth, oversee all ice center programs and special events, and supervise key directors and staff.

Responsibilities include budgeting, contract management with independent contractors, and ensuring insurance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Parks & Recreation, Business Administration, Sports Management or related field; significant experience may substitute.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience; prior supervisory experience required.
• Professional certifications or active membership in a professional association desirable.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all Ice Center Programs and Special Events.
• Develop budgets and administer front desk, events, skating, hockey, karate, and camps.
• Drive revenue growth and cost savings through program management and promotion.
• Schedule ice and facility spaces to maximize utilization and revenue.
