Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater preferred.
• 3+ years experience (5 preferred), managing and administrating program activities for assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages activities of staff and consultants, providing leadership and direction to meet performance goals.
• Develops and implements program goals, strategies and objectives to sustain and grow programs and services.
• Schedules a program work plan, oversees daily operations, coordinates activities and delegates tasks.
• Maintains liaison with other departments to coordinate activities and training and share resources.
• Administers program procedures and ensures dissemination of policies and procedures.
• Advises staff with technical guidance and problem solving; refers complex questions to the appropriate department.
• Participates in developing program budgets and grants; may monitor expenditures and reconciliations.
• Hires program staff and handles performance appraisals and other personnel transactions.
• Collaborates on proposals for corporate or foundation funding and funding continuation.
