Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a dedicated Community Engagement professional to lead design, implementation, and evaluation of engagement programs. The role focuses on fostering inclusive partnerships with diverse stakeholders and communities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum Required Experience: 6 years
  • Knowledge of technical, business, consultation, project management, and cultural awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage centerwide and study activities and programming independently under supervision.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, trainees, and community members across disciplines.
  • Provide direction and guidance to the study team to achieve program goals.
  • Develop and manage strategies strengthening organization-community relationships.
  • Design and evaluate community engagement programs, events, and initiatives to raise awareness and participation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, partner organizations, local businesses, community advisory boards, and government agencies.
  • Represent the organization at events, meetings, and forums to boost visibility and partnerships.
  • Develop communication strategies to inform stakeholders about programs and outcomes.

Job description


  • Work independently, under the direction of the Center Director or his/her designee to manage centerwide and/or study specific activities and programing.

  • Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students and other trainees, and community members with various roles across different disciplines.

  • Provide direction and guidance to the study team(s) to facilitate the achievement of the program’s goals.

  • Develop, implement, and manage strategies that strengthen relationships between the organization and the communities it serves.

  • Design, implement, and evaluate community engagement programs, events, and initiatives that promote awareness and participation.

  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, partner organizations, local businesses, community advisory boards, and government agencies.

  • Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and forums to enhance visibility and strengthen partnerships.

  • Develop communication strategies to engage stakeholders and keep them informed about programs and outcomes.
