Responsibilities

Overseeing the overall planning, direction and timely execution of a program or several program segments.
Collaborating with heads of other CBP Organizational elements to negotiate, decide on, and coordinate work changes affecting the assigned program segment.
Evaluating the effectiveness of the organizational elements in terms of mission accomplishment.
Providing information and recommendations on the current and long-range plans pertaining to managerial and administrative procedures and operation's program and financial management.
Providing technical and administrative supervision to the unit.
Establishing production standards and preparing performance work plans and appraisals.
Developing procedures and techniques and furnishing policy guidance.
