Job summary

Devereux in Deptford, NJ seeks a Program Manager to lead and grow a compassionate team dedicated to helping individuals in need. The role reports to the Program Director and oversees a group home in Deptford, NJ. Salary ranges from $58,000 to $68,000.

The position emphasizes servant leadership, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to high-quality care for individuals served.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor's in a related field is preferred.
• Valid non-provisional driver's license is required.
• One year of supervisory experience in a behavioral health care setting.
• Two years experience with individuals with disabilities in a community setting is preferred.
• Empathetic, with a team approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans for individuals in care.
• Ensure internal and external facilities present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed community member.
• Oversee staff including hiring, performance management, attendance, payroll accuracy and training compliance.
• Ensure all shifts within the program are adequately covered.
• Supervise planning, implementation and documentation of programs meeting social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in group outings for individuals.
• Manage shopping for home necessities (food, clothing, household items).
• Schedule and transport individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips and day programs.
