Job summary

Stanford University’s Doerr School of Sustainability seeks a Program Manager to lead the Research Practice Hub, coordinating four core program areas and aligning community priorities with academic inquiry.

You will partner with Center leadership and engage faculty, partners, and students to advance environmental justice, transform learning experiences, and deliver impactful research outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree may be required for some programs.
• For jobs with financial responsibilities, experience managing a budget and developing financial plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of the Research Practice Hub with four core program areas.
• Design and manage Hub projects integrating faculty PIs, community partners, and student researchers.
• Build and sustain partnerships with community-based organizations, policymakers, and regional sites.
• Establish participatory research frameworks centering community expertise, data sovereignty, and equitable benefit.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to assess community impact, research quality, and partnerships.
