Job summary

Stanford University’s Doerr School of Sustainability seeks a Program Manager to oversee Planetary Intelligence and Climate Adaptation projects with a hybrid work option on the Palo Alto campus. You will coordinate, monitor, analyze data, prepare reports, and advise leadership to keep programs on track and within scope.

Responsibilities include developing events and training content, facilitating stakeholder meetings, reporting results, and connecting teams with internal and external resources.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a scientific or engineering related field.
  • Interest in science related career (academia, business, policy, etc.).
  • Interest in entrepreneurship and impact.
  • Experience with AI and/or geospatial science.
  • Experience with data management and/or computer science.
  • Experience developing events, workshops, and trainings.
  • Ability to influence without authority.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor Planetary Intelligence and Climate Adaptation projects, staying on track within scope.
  • Collect and analyze program data; generate reports and identify trends.
  • Conduct in-depth technical and market research to aid teams.
  • Design and develop content for events, workshops, and trainings.
  • Facilitate communication and identify synergies with external stakeholders.
  • Represent the Accelerator internally and externally at events and meetings.
  • Direct project work of administrative staff on the programs.
  • Serve as operational contact for projects and stakeholders across Stanford and partners.
  • Lead day-to-day program management for multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve issues hindering operations.
  • Provide operational support across Accelerator initiatives and programs.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for leadership.
