North Metro Community Services Inc. is seeking a supervisor to oversee a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure a safe, supportive environment for adults with disabilities. The role involves daily operations, performance assessment, and staff development.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, documentation, and maintaining professional communication. A High School Diploma and at least a year of supervisory experience are preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year or more supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coach and train employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support DSP team to ensure safe, quality day services.
• Assess employee performance and take corrective action.
• Create and adapt activity schedules.
• Complete required paperwork and document in the departmental database.
• Monitor training and review timecards.
• Interview and train new staff.
• Attend meetings and promote a positive work environment.
• Identify and resolve workplace problems.
