Job summary

Opportunity Builders, Inc. seeks a Team Leader DSP to provide direct support and advocacy for adults with disabilities while helping implement efficient program processes. This role emphasizes quality care, PCP goals, and data entry into ICare Manager daily.

You will balance direct care with project work, training DSPs, and coordinating with supervisors to reflect participant preferences in the PCP. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent in work experience.
• Valid Driver’s license, no more than 3 points on driving record and 3+ years driving experience.
• Ability to perform and meet job and physical requirements listed below.
• Smart phones with internet capability and basic knowledge of the internet, apps, email and GPS.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
• Able to perform with autonomy, as well as in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Physical Requirements: lifting 50–100 pounds, wheelchair pushing 100 pounds, etc.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned checks to ensure quality services and a safe environment for participants.
• Collaborate with management to complete tasks or projects to enhance program quality and support DSPs.
• Work with team leaders in virtual services, activity execution, community access and quality care.
• Assist with implementing corrective measures from Plans of Correction.
• Aid participants with ADLs and meaningful activities in line with PCP.
